At her initial intake in January 2023, Christy's lease on her residence was a week away from ending. She was attempting to distance herself from the abusive father of her youngest child. She was not receiving any kind of benefits, was constantly having vehicle trouble, and had an 11th grade education.

After a year of hard work alongside her 100 Families Coordinator, Christy was able to secure stable and permanent housing, buy a new vehicle, receive SNAP, TEA, and Medicaid, enroll in GED classes, and has been maintaining good mental health.

With her progress, Christy is excited to "open the door" to new possibilities and reach her personal and family goals.
