Laura Caldwell, Founder of New Start for Children & Families, offers a safe place for family visitations for parents whose children are in foster care. She sees firsthand the reality for bio parents who have kids in care and are putting in the work toward reunification and knows those cycles can be difficult to break.
She speaks to her experience at the 100 Families Initiative meeting in Crawford County, Arkansas. The 100 Families Initiative is a community-led initiative that helps families move from crisis to stability and onto career using existing community resources.
